1. First Time Login as an Administrator

Access the URL provided in the email sent to you upon applying for the free trial. Enter the login ID “admin” and the temporary password mentioned in the same email, then click “Login.”

When you start using My Redmine, only the admin user with administrator privileges is registered. The temporary password can only be used for the initial login, so you will be prompted to change it to a password other than the temporary one.

What is a Administrator?

An administrator is a user who can manage the entirety of My Redmine, including the following tasks:

  • Access all projects (including projects where they are not a member)
  • Configure all settings of Redmine (utilizing the settings features provided in the top menu “Administration”)
  • Use all features of Redmine (role and permission control under “Administration” → “Roles and Permissions” in the top menu does not apply)
  • Use the “My Redmine Payment” function (subscribe to paid services, check or change payment information)
