Far End Technologies Corporation’s Activities on Redmine

Far End Technologies Corporation has proudly supported the development and promotion of the open source project management software “Redmine” for over a decade. We have continuously enhanced Redmine’s functionality, striving to make it more intuitive and efficient for all users. Redmine.JP:

—An essential resource offering Redmine information in Japanese.

Although Redmine is a convenient and flexible project management software, it was not widely recognized in Japan over a decade ago. To raise awareness and provide helpful information to those struggling with project management, we launched Redmine.JP, a dedicated website in Japanese that aggregates information about Redmine. The website was launched in 2007, the year after Redmine’s initial release. Since then, Redmine.JP has been consistently updated and frequently visited by many people in Japan.

My Redmine JP Edition (available only in Japan):

—A cloud service tailored for Japanese users, built on Redmine.

As we continued to disseminate information, we realized that offering Redmine as a cloud service would eliminate the hassle of setting up the environment, benefiting users in Japan. In 2009, to enhance convenience and address security concerns, we launched My Redmine, a cloud-based service tailored specifically for the Japanese market — known as My Redmine JP Edition.

This service exemplifies our dedication to seamless project management, catering to the needs of both individual users and large organizations. For more than ten years, My Redmine JP Edition has been a cornerstone of our offerings, enabling over 1,500 companies and teams in Japan to effortlessly leverage the power of Redmine.

Redmine Advisor:

—A new platform providing Redmine resources in English.

Our vision extends beyond Japan. To further demonstrate Redmine’s versatility and effectiveness, we launched a new English website, Redmine Advisor, in 2023. We aim to contribute to the global spread of Redmine by delivering information to users outside of Japan, hoping that the power of Redmine will expand worldwide.
